I was born and raised right here—and I’ll be dead here, too! I absolutely love it. Southside Virginia is a gateway to paradise! South Hill may be small (just about 3,500 people), but it’s full of heart. We’re tucked about 12 miles north of the North Carolina line and just 20 minutes from Lake Gaston or Buggs Island/Kerr Lake. You can have your toes in the sand in 2.5 hours or hit the slopes at Wintergreen in the same time. We’re 1.5 hours north of Raleigh and 1.5 hours south of Richmond—yep, right in the middle of nowhere, but not too far from anywhere! And with Interstate 85 running north and south, plus U.S. Highway 58 east and west, we’re as connected as we are peaceful.
My real estate journey began in 1980, and I’ve been proudly licensed in both Virginia and North Carolina ever since. I’ve had the honor of serving our industry on the Virginia Real Estate Board for over 20 years, as well as working with the National Association of Realtors, the Virginia Association of Realtors, the Southside Virginia Association of Realtors, and the Roanoke Valley Lake Gaston Board of Realtors. I hold several professional designations—including GRI, CRB, QSC, and SFR—and I truly look forward to helping you with all your real estate needs!
